The Monthly Reconciliation
Don’t Ignore Business Expenses
There are probably transactions you could explain immediately when they happened but cannot identify as easily now. A personal charge may have ended up on a business card. A business purchase may have been made from a personal account. An expense may have been left uncategorized because getting the payment made was more important than recording every detail.
Six months later, those transactions require detective work. You may need to search through emails, check your calendar, or think back to what was happening during a particular week.
